It all started as an idea for the client to try a new concept of selling photos and memoirs that people can give and keep not digitally.
The idea was to create one that can be assembled in a few hours and after a few weeks / months to be ready to move to the new location.
After a few short months the client asked to build 3 more locations and so we did, every time we got better by improving storage and the flow inside the both.
Candyland
The client came with a small space at the Farmer’s Market. He wanted to create a candy booth with a few specific requests, they were:
- That children can reach the candy shelves
- To be able to store as much as we can
- To have a clean, professional look
Hidden Workstation
The client was planning to increase the hours that they work from home but the kids needed a place to stay and play.
The idea was that it will be in an open space but not on the floor and easy to close when play time is up. .
So, we created a folding desk with 4 drawers and a cupboard for storage that can also be used as a white board with magnets.
By creating this design, the kids got a space for them to play while still being around their parents in the office next door.
Down The Slide
The client needed a solution to store canned food, in a way where the first one is the oldest.
As the space they had was very narrow and not deep, we had to come up with creative concepts to accommodate for this. The solution was to create a two level slide, where once you pull a can out, the next one slides into place.
Now the client can store as much canned food as they would like, without having to worry about expiry dates.
The Ribbon
The client needed to store their ribbon rolls in a way that it would be organized and could be hidden in the TV wall unit.
As they already had some bed frames in the room, they asked to match the new unit to the furniture already in the room.
After a few models, we came up with the one that works best for her that was a perfect match to the previous wood, made from distress wood with hand painting.
