When the client asked me to help him and build a cabinet for the guitars as he would like to see and be able to use them in an easy way.

The explanation was that all the guitars were always in their cases (hiding in the closet) and usually in the basement, thus by the time the feeling to play arises, the trip to the basement and searching for the right guitar has killed the buzz…

So the idea was to build a display cabinet that could store as much as we can but still be beautiful and offer protection for the guitars.

We started to see how many guitars and what size and style they were, then found ways to:

keep the UV out by using special glass
keeping humidity above 42 at all times in the cabinet.
sealing the doors with a gasket.
installing aromatic Cedar that would help to keep the humidity and push away bugs.
